Thanksgiving in Belmont and village notes
The Dispatch reports Thanksgiving at Belmont with Frank Stevens and his wife, Belle Elliott home from school, and various locals visiting or hosting. A Crandalls opera house hop was poorly attended, roads improved, and a new iron bridge to Sunnyside praised. Town events include Farmers Club, generosity with flour to families, and hunting trips by Wilcox and Jones with bear and venison prospects.
