Mrs. Eien Condon, resident of Gaussin flats on South Street, died Thursday at 4 o clock after about a week of organic heart trouble. She and her daughter had moved from Binghamton, N.Y. recently. The body will be taken to Binghamton for burial and the funeral party will depart Friday morning.

Mrs Spencer J Norton and her child return from Indianapolis after visiting Mrs James Moog. Robert Duncan and daughters Helen and Mary traveled to Indianapolis Thursday for the State Fair.
Jacob Fishback files for divorce from Ruth Fishback after 13 years of marriage alleging cruelty and neglect. He accuses Ruth of refusing to perform wife duties, attacking him, and eloping with his 26 year old stepson, leaving behind three children. He seeks custody of Elizabeth, Edgar, and J. W.
James Bud Greer changes his plea and is fined fifty dollars and sentenced to thirty days in jail.
James Bud Greer withdrew not guilty plea and pleaded guilty to contributing to the delinquency of a minor, Alice Blevins. He received a $50 fine and 30 days in jail in the Lawrence circuit court before Judge Swails.

A state fire marshal report shows from May 15 to Sept 1 lightning fires caused over 633000 dollars in losses in Indiana. Barns accounted for 69 percent of total building losses with 417 barns struck and 290 total losses. Only nine rodded buildings were lost versus about 600000 dollars in non rodded structures.
