Mrs. Sarah Hufffiles a complaint alleging cruel treatment in a legal action against Louis Kuff. The suit outlines alleged abuse and seeks redress through the court.
Mitchell resident Sarah Fe Hay filed for absolute divorce from Louis in Lawrence circuit court alleging cruel and inhuman treatment. They married January 14 1946 and separated October 15 1949. Her attorney Logan R Browning cited his client’s delusions claiming a prior slander suit produced money and a missing judgment, though no such suit exists. She has visited the city repeatedly and warned she will return.
Audrey Jackson filed for divorce from Walter S Jackson in Lawrence Circuit Court through attorney Wes Clark. She alleges marriage began November 1810 and lasted three years until May when the husband subjected her to cruel inhuman treatment and told her to leave home.
Indiana hunters report a new mountain squirrel invading eastern Indiana woods. Mountain jacks, once unknown four years ago, are now plentiful and feared to push out native gray and fox squirrels. Hunters note these smaller, tasty critters could dominate the area as their numbers grow.
