Dick Simmons, son of Mr and Mrs H T Simmons, was held up near the Baugh livery barn after arriving home on the 12 05 a m train from Bedford. A heavy set man with a revolver demanded his money and took $5, while Simmons hid his $40 gold water. Police recovered the watch. no crew reported. Bloomington Ind March 12 A suit for 5000 damages was filed by John Cox against Harrison Ballenger alleging Ballenger bit Cox on fingers and hand. Cox claims violent assault caused pain mental anguish and humiliation and forced him to pay 25 in medical bills and miss ten weeks of work. Both men are farmers in southern Monroe County.
