Through a Transom Burglar Foiled at Beasley’s Market

Young freight clerk shoots self after marital troubles
Fred Gantz, 28, chief clerk at the Southern Indiana freight office in Seymour, attempted suicide Saturday night. He was found by Dr. Graessle with a gunshot wound through the left shoulder and heart area after claiming an accidental discharge while reaching for a desk drawer.
