Representatives of the Big Five Powers have agreed to admit Danish delegates to the peace conference to present claims for Schleswig Holstein’s return to Denmark from Germany. The action was announced in Aris on February 20, So far no final decision on the exact role or status of Danish negotiators has been released.
Paris reports Premier Clemenceau showed a slight rise in temperature this afternoon while the X ray tax installment discussion continues. The House approved a bill raising the salaries of election inspectors judges and clerks to three dollars a day.
Washington reports that American troops in France are to be brought home before the end of next summer if the War Department’s plan is carried out. The statement was made this afternoon in Washington.
Morris Davis who escaped from the Louisville holdover and was captured here by Chief Bowen will not be returned to Kentucky. Louisville police notified local authorities that only a vagrancy charge remained and they did not seek his extradition. Mrs Charles H Allen has shown improvement after illness.
An infant daughter of Mr and Mrs John Croucher died Wednesday at their Bloomington home after they moved from this city last fall. The couple had lived here while he worked in local barber shops and as a railway brakeman. Funeral is set for Friday as friends extend sympathy. James F Stephenson RE Y Guernsey and Wm H Cosner recently returned from the Merchants Association gathering in Indianapolis.
Moses Henderson died at his home in Licitonville early Thursday due to old age complications. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 o'clock at Gilgal church with burial in the adjoining cemetery. Relatives and friends from this city are expected to attend.
Mrs. H A Blue of Birmingham Alabama announces the death of her husband H A Blue at his home in Birmingham Monday night from pneumonia. Mrs Blue was formerly Miss Gervan Trueblood, daughter of Mr and Mrs Klnood Trueblood of this city.
Mrs Doyle Reath enjoyed a surprise birthday anniversary gathering Wednesday at her South Aleri home. Friends served a luncheon of sandwiches pickles olives ice cream cake and coffee and activities included dancing music and conversation.
Thirty five men who attended Indiana University are listed as killed in action or died in service. The roster includes Karl E. Anderson, 17, of this city, Noble Blackwell, 720, of Mitchell, and Millard Spoor, 20, who married Miss Gleda Foster of this city. Joe Campbell lies in serious condition with lobar pneumonia. A nurse from Indianapolis arrived Thursday to care for him. Mrs. Campbell, suffering from influenza, is improving.

Nellie Wright, once a visitor here, died Wednesday at her Bloomington home from tuberculosis. The funeral was held this afternoon in Bloomington with relatives Eluer Smith and Mrs John Hensler traveling there to attend.
Cara Widwards, former County Auditor, has accepted a position with the First National Bank of Mitchell as Assistant Cashier. Mr Edwards plans to move his family to Mitchell, returning to the Cement City for work near his elderly mother, and Bedford residents regret losing a valued citizen. His county duties earned him wide respect among residents.
A Bedford man is the sole prisoner in the jail awaiting murder trial. The piece notes the contrast with a year ago when saloons ran wide open and prisoner counts reached twenty to thirty in Bloomington.

They will reside at Princeton after March 10. Capt Schnarr formerly led Salvation Army work here. his wife died soon after they left Bedford.
Former Bedford resident Miss Mary Polly Roberts, now teaching in Texas, has invested in oil stock that has yielded a profitable income. Her Bloomington references note her earlier residence and family ties, with visits to Bedford and Bloomington figures including Mrs. S. M. Cook and Mrs. Alva Bryan.
Jolly gathering at Enos Keith’s home celebrated his birthday with a Pinochle session and lunch. Attendees included Mr and Mrs John Miller, Mr and Mrs Von Graham, Mr and Mrs Ben Sherwood, Mr and Mrs Von Baker, Mr and Mrs Martin Benson, Mr and Mrs Ernest Carter, and Mr and Mrs W O Spriggs. Private Everett Myers, recently discharged from Camb Sherman, visited Bedford after time with his sister Mrs D L Stewart. Mr and Mrs F D Norton, guests of Mr and Mrs Walter Gillette in Louisville, have returned home.
