Mrs Rose Stamper formerly of this city died in Charleston West Virginia from severe burns received when her clothing caught fire while she was near a lamp. She was the wife of Clarencer Stamper and mother of a five year old son. The body will be brought home for burial likely at Orleans with funeral plans incomplete.
