Fred Ramsey an ex-railroader serving seven five days for stealing eggs escaped from Lawrence county jail by modeling a key from a wood piece and drawing, slipping through a corridor basement exit while the turnkey was away. Police warned, Ramsey a known troublemaker could be traced. escape occurred after he relocked the door and left no trace.
