Elizabeth Herson at her farm near Clearfield died Sunday. Born January 28 1849 in Times she was near 100. Survived by two sons Cleve and Burdette. Funeral at Presbyterian church Diagonal with burial at Diagonal cemetery. Nearby residents moved into Clearfield area and properties changed hands.

Rev Ellea Martin presented his resignation as pastor of the Christian church on Sunday morning.
Pastor Resigns to Lead Clarence Church
The membership accepted the resignation of Mr. Martin who planned to assume the pastorate of the Christian church at Clarence Missouri. The church regrets his departure but his ministerial plans can be carried out more fully in Clarence. He began his pastorate here on September 1 1946.
