Wheat allotments and limestone orders urged for fall 1951
Farmers must seek wheat allotments at the county office before July 1 if they did not receive an allotment or have not grown wheat in the past three years. Five acres or more of wheat in any of the last three years marks old wheat farms with established allotments. Orders for limestone should be placed now as delivery timelines are set and costs are favorable. Some corn-loan borrowers who sold or fed part of their corn have settled. others yet to settle should do so promptly to avoid embarrassment and preserve loan eligibility.
