Mrs Anna Andrew learned of her mother Mrs Palmer's death at her son Fred Palmer's Kansas home. Grandma Palmer, 95, lived with a daughter until health failed, body to Gravity for burial Saturday. Numerous local clubs and gatherings described, including picnics, ice cream socials, 4-H meetings, and family visits across Gravity and nearby towns.

Community members attended the Friday afternoon funeral at Hopkins Methodist Church. Mrs. Ethel Cross and Lee Cross visited from Fairbury Nebraska with family. Mrs. Cross extended her stay after returning home. Catherine Harris returned from Maryville after a three day stay.
