Weekend visits and student travelers from Clearfield region

Local residents share holidays and changes in town

Des Moines and Winterset visits mark holidays as Miss Mabel Bladon and Mrs. Homer Calkin return from trips. The Black and White Cafe changes hands with S. M. Gibson family taking charge. Students Burl Roudybush and C F Lyddon visit home from Pella and Maryville respectively.

Gravity Area Social Roundup of New Year Events

Miss Mary Hill hosted a seven oclock dinner with guests including Mr. and Mrs. Fred McCune and others from New Market and Bedford. Local clubs held oyster suppers, installations and dinners as the community rang in New Year with gatherings across Gravity and nearby towns.
