Conway Church Renews Interior After Repairs
The Conway Methodist church is being redecorated by Doc Quinn of Lenox after moisture damage. L. E. Phillips of Bartlesville donated 100 dollars and the church raised 143 dollars for interior work. A Christmas tree program is planned for Friday December 24 as part of renewed community involvement. Hunter Family Reunion Held at Doud Hunter Home. A basket dinner accompanied by a large gathering including Dirrum, Kight, Long, Sanders, Andrews and others from Hepburn Hepburn to Rhode Island was held Sunday December 5.

The Lenox girls and boys basketball teams will play in Clearfield Friday night December 17. Several local residents visited Lenox relatives over the weekend and many others noted social visits and gatherings around town.
Farmers praise hybrid corn from Iowa State experts caution
Reports warn there is no magic in hybrid seed yet reveal mixed results from 1937 experiences. Chauncey Cook near Lenox planted 20 acres of hybrid and 20 acres open pollinated with yields showing 70 compared to 55 bushels per acre for hybrid and open pollenated respectively. Pennebaker & Sons of Sharpsburg compared three bushels across four fields with varied outcomes including better stalk height but open pollinated grain quality. Growers must understand seed production and local suitability and buyers should seek honesty and fair dealing.
