Jessie Williams Rites Held in Leon
Funeral services and burial for Mrs. Jessie Williams age 59 were held in Leon after her death in Clearfield. She was daughter of the late Jesse Clayton of Clearfield, wife of Wm. Williams, and mother of Richard F. Williams of Humeston. Survived by four brothers and four sisters. three grandchildren. Numerous local notices follow of social visits, club activities, and family events in Clearfield and surrounding towns.

Mrs Will Boyd reports Hopkins plans for a September picnic on the 1st to 3rd with committees at work on programs. Opal Williams and Opal Orme near completion of platform programs while the high school band provides music. Kiddies dept plans led by Mrs Potts and Mrs Martin. Funeral services were held Monday for J W DeMott age 85 active Xenia Lodge member nearly 50 years.
