Milo Whitehead was struck by a bat while catching, suffering a crushed nose, but he played later for New Market at Gravity Saturday. After attending Gravity’s homecoming, Mr and Mrs George Garrett found their town home opposite Main Street burglarized. Silverware, dishware, bedding, quilts, pillows, and a large amount of fancy work were taken with no clue yet to recover the losses.
