Wednesday afternoon Dolph Snodgrass and his wife were driving to New Market for a Chautauqua when their horse bolted near Rube Anderson’s. The animal ran onto a bank, capsized the buggy, and threw Dolph clear from the vehicle. Mrs. Snodgrass was dragged by the buggy top but escaped with cuts and bruises and later recovered enough to be around again.

A well known party north of town attended lodge on Monday evening and later learned he had lost the gasoline tank from his car. He didn’t discover the loss until the next day when a friend informed him and directed him to the location of the missing tank. By the will of the late A L Bibbins the executor is authorized to sell real estate of the estate including Garland Hotel brick stores occupied by Fuller-Taylor Clothing Co Fair Store Carpenter Shop occupied by R F Greenlee and adjoining lots. Notice states under Iowa law that the Bedford Free Press Publishing Company of Bedford Taylor county Iowa is dissolved by unanimous consent of officers and shareholders dated the 138th day of August 1921 Administrators appointed for the Amanda R Cameron estate call for debts and claims to be presented for allowance with legal authentication by the clerk of the Taylor county district court.
