Wife frees L P Bosworth in West Main fire

Misfortune struck Bosworth Radiator Shop at 1215 West Main at about 5 am Wednesday when flames trapped L P Bosworth. Wanted Baby Of Her Own Baby returns unharmed in Stockton case

A distraught mother who wanted a baby as her own surrendered the infant she had stolen from a San Francisco hospital nursery. The child was taken to St Joseph's hospital in Stockton where Dr. and Mrs. Sanford Marcus identified him as Robert Mareuzonted. The kidnapper, Betty Jean Benedito, 27, turned the boy over to a Franciscan priest after an off-duty deputy questioned her tale. The infant’s health was reported good, with weight gain noted.
