Martha Ann Rawson of 114 Cabinets Baytown died of an apparent heart attack at home. Added pledges and gifts to San Jacinto Methodist Hospital Development Fund bring total to 306,224. Treasurer George L Bennett reported at a noon Thursday meeting of drive leaders and finance campaign captains. President James Harrop presided. Plans were outlined to enlarge the steering committee with meetings every other week to report progress on prospects who have not yet answered. The campaign quota is 670,500 to qualify for federal Hill-Burton aid. If 1,000 rooms are added, the board estimates needing 1, the drive chairman Fred Hartman cited firm and foundation gifts as key to a quick dent in funds. The steering committee will run until every prospect is seen.
