Son, 7, injured at Elks Club slide in Baytown
Woody Sonnier seven year old son of Mr and Mrs Fred Sonnier of 502 Inwood suffered serious injuries in a Sunday afternoon fall from a slide at the Elks Club on Market Street. He underwent brain surgery at Hermann Hospital Houston and was reported holding his own at noon Monday. The elder Sonnier is an anaesthetist at Gulf Coast Hospital. The Baytown Rotary plans two football meetings with Houston Oilers Coach Bones Taylor and Robert E Lee Ganders as guests. BAYTOWN Mental Health Board will meet at noon Monday Sept 13 at the Tower. Zion Narrows flood traps hikers in narrow gorge
