Ganders face La Porte in 5A test at Stallworth Stadium
Lee High School coach Marvin Ledberry Jr frames Friday's clash with La Porte as a tough test. La Porte features four 300-pound linemen and two running backs, No.21 Keith Whitely and No.20 Hara Scott, while Anthony Webb returns. La Porte won 37-7 over Fort Bend Clements, and Lee aims to improve after a 28-20 overtime loss to Sterling. Sedberry notes the scheduling strengthens the team before district play and stresses readiness for future games.
