Giant Shrimp Weighs Eight Ounces In Trinity Bay
Shrimp in Trinity Bay run larger this year though scarcer. A rare eight ounce flat half pound specimen appeared at Thompson's Fishing Camo now run by the Evans clan. Jimmy Evans hoped to mount it but his wife preferred eating it. Captain Crawley’s crew enjoyed a week long gumbo from a different big catch. High bay salinity may be driving the unusual size trend.
