Baytown District Joins Texas Plan A For Special Ed
The Baytown school district is one of 25 in Texas chosen for Plan A of the comprehensive special education program by the Texas Education Agency. By 1976 all districts will participate. Baytown also offers an extension course from Lamar State University with Region 4 to train special education personnel. The course focuses on learning processes and techniques for educating exceptional children, including those with learning disabilities and behavior related issues.
