How Lee College Library Shelves New Books
The process turns a request into a shelved volume as staff and student assistants handle cataloging, ordering, and care. From initial request to placement, steps include card checks, print status, jobber orders, budget numbers, and Library of Congress cards before the book joins the 30,000 volumes ready for patrons.
