Voters may cast ballots from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. In Baytown the site is the Mockingbird Room of the Community Center at 2407 Market Street. In Chambers County polling locations include the Office of the County Clerk in the Chambers County Courthouse Anahuac 404 Washington Ave the East Chambers County Courthouse Annex Winnie 211 Broadway Ave the West Annex Mont Belvieu 10616 Eagle Dr and the Cedar Bayou Community Building Baytown 7711 Highway 146.

In Baytown on June 14 2007 Bobby Davis 16 faced four counts of manslaughter after a stolen Jeep Cherokee collided with a freight train at Archer Railroad Crossing killing four teenagers. Reward raised in Baytown murder case involving ex employee
Baytown Crime Stoppers and an anonymous sponsor boosted the reward to five thousand dollars plus the usual up to one thousand for tips leading to the arrest of Juan Bocardo, sought in the June 6 fatal shooting of Jesus Emanuel Ramirez at 2109 W Humble Ave. Witnesses described a confrontation with a Hispanic male before shots were fired and Ramirez died at the scene. Bocardo, 59, a former Ramirez employee fired a week earlier, was last seen leaving in a brown four door car near his Highlands home as detectives pursued leads.
