Whitakers Take Trip To New Orleans River Wedding
Mr and Mrs John Paul Whitaker plan to live at 401 Forrest after a wedding ceremony at Memorial Baptist Church Friday night. The bride Miss Dady Ann Frazier is the daughter of Mr and Mrs L E Frazier of Morrell Street. The groom is H M Whitaker, Archer Road. Rev A L Jordan conducted the double ring rite. The couple hosted a reception at the parents home with Missi Heffelfinger and Ann Melinger in the house party. The bride wore a blue wool suit with taupe mink collar and carried white chrysanthemum bouquets. Both graduates of Robert E Lee High School, the pair will continue at Lee College. the groom works at the DuPont plant.

Miss Krizak Weds Courtney Barnett in St Paul Church
Miss Krizak married Courtney Barnett Friday night at St Pauls Lathers Church in Alvin. The bride wore a white peau de soie gown with a beaded veil and a crown of pearls, designed with a jeweled pattern on a dome skirt. The ceremony was performed by Rev H C Bombott before a floral alt ar with white plazid and chrysanthemums. Attendants included sisters as honor attendants and a niece as maid of honor. The reception followed at Knights of Columbus Hall. The couple will live in Alvin. the bride is a former Robert E. Lee graduate and the groom, an Alvin High School graduate, works at a serving station in Alvin.
