Jimmy's Paint and Body Shop marks 60 years in Baytown
Jimmy's Paint and Body Shop in Baytown celebrates six decades serving the area dating back to 1948. Owner Glenda Trawhon notes family leadership since 1991 after purchasing from her parents and expanding to a new 20,000 square foot facility. The shop earned the Monument Award in 2002 and was featured in Automotive Body Repair News in 2006 reflecting its design and service.

TexUsToo a prostate cancer support group won the prize for best booth at Exxon Mobil's Safety Harvest held on October 4 and 11. Volunteers Kai Nivell Charles Edwards Ray Ugalde Rose Ugalde and John Gealy staffed the booth to raise awareness of screening and early detection while highlighting that men from all walks of life can be survivors. The event drew about 180 employees and families and featured booths on safety and related topics.
