Victim stabbed to death at Rosemont Apartments
Baytown police say a homicide victim found at Rosemont Apartments in the 6000 block of Garth Road was stabbed several days before discovery. The deceased was 54-year-old Victor Ayala. Raymond Riley, 28, was found in possession of Ayala’s Mercedes C230 and later located at the Houston Inn Suites. Riley refused to cooperate with detectives. SEE MURDER PAGE 3A.

Friends Serving Friends Thanksgiving feast in Baytown reaches 19th year
Shirley Sneed, volunteer donations coordinator for the Baytown Community Alliance, coordinates cash donations and publicity for the Thanksgiv ing Day Feast.
