Baytown City Council approved the first phase of a two phase street reconstruction bond project with an estimated cost of 3.341 million dollars and authorized bid advertisements. A pre bid meeting is set for Oct 22 with bids opening Nov 4 and award on Nov 13.

Cleo, once a devoted church worker and beautician, built a life in southwest Louisiana with Edwin. After his 1973 death she supported her sons through college, earned a GED at 64, and faced Alzheimer’s as she aged. Mark and Wanda cared for her as she grew increasingly confused and lost.
