Baytown writer Chris Buckner proposes Texas buyers with room, know how, and right to work laws could acquire Hostess assets and relocate production. He envisions hiring returning veterans, avoiding unions, and using state incentives while critics warn drug tests for welfare recipients risk children. Buckner offers a simplified recovery idea amid bankruptcy and Christmas layoffs.
