Armed robbers hit Highlands and Channelview businesses
Two separate armed-robbery incidents occurred Monday at a Highlands Valero at 301 South Main and a Channelview fast food outlet. No injuries were reported. In Highlands, a 30 to 35 year old man of Indian or Pakistani descent, about 5'6" to 5'7" and 180 to 190 pounds, wearing a dark blue long sleeve shirt, forced an employee to open the safe and then warned them not to leave the restroom. The Channelview suspect details were not provided in the visible text. The Harris County Sheriff's Office is investigating.
