Gene Washington All American at MSU

Gene Washington of La Porte and Baytown Carver earned Coaches Association All American honors after stars at Michigan State and a key role in the MSU Notre Dame 20 to 10 tie. He is a NCAA hurdle champion, all state in football basketball and track, and invited to East-West Shrine and Hula Bowl. His father Henry Washington toured from Baytown to East Lansing for the game, celebrating Gene’s senior season and rising pro prospects.

Mrs Thomas To Deliver Cards On Saigon Trip
