Motorcycle rider dies in Baytown crash near Fred Hartman Bridge
A 59 year old man, Robert F. Campbell of Rye, died after his motorcycle collided with a concrete abutment on South Highway 146 near the Fred Hartman Bridge. Witnesses reported speeding and weaving before the impact. Nearby crimes include a Coke machine theft, liquor store burglary, drug possession arrest, and several residential and vehicle burglaries in Baytown.

Baytown officials consider a 25 year lease with the Art League of Baytown for the 110 West Texas Avenue gallery to promote tourism and host 20 hours weekly free to the public.
