A 30 year old Baytown man was jailed after police arrested him for possession of a controlled substance following a disturbance call at a Blackstone Street home. He carried a pistol and a rifle was found in his truck while 1.75 grams of cocaine and bath salts were located. A license to carry a concealed handgun is under review.
Baytown officers logged 30 offense reports and answered 142 calls for service. The period included four assaults, one burglary of a vehicle, one forgery, one sexual assault and two thefts. Mont Belvieu police report lists a 53-year-old white male arrested for Family Violence at Value Inn on SH 146. Officers handled five suspicious person calls, turning one subject over to Baytown police on a warrant, and a TV stolen from Motel 6 on SH 146. Seven accidents were investigated during the period.
