Baytown Hispanic Chamber of Commerce banquet speaker James Richardson of the U S Minority Business Development Agency urged Hispanics to seek political influence via economic growth and education. He urged collaboration with other parties and noted scholarships totaling 3000 were awarded to Ricky Adamus Eddie Fuentes and Gilbert Garcia with sponsors Nixon USA and Adolph Coors recognized. Graduates Wyat t Saterbak top RSS class

Robyn Wyatt and Ann Saterbak top Ross S. Sterling High School's RSS class of 1986. Robyn says she began aiming for the top 10 after freshman year when she learned she had the highest GPA. Ann notes academics were a priority and credits Saudi schooling helped her get there. Both emphasize hard work, planning, and sacrificing social time. Robyn plans music education at Baylor and a future choral conductor role. Ann will double major in biochemistry and chemical engineering at Rice, aiming for biomedical engineering.
