Baytown residents Amy Ryanne Brewer earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in hotel and hospitality management from Dallas Baptist University. Milton A. Collins and D Andre L. Thompson joined 118 Bethany College graduates in Lindsborg Kansas.

Jacobs pursues music degree and honors with acting roots
Jordan Jacobs, a Barbers Hill graduate and Oklahoma City University student, pursues a bachelor in music while acting in three plays. He started singing in Cedar Bayou Grace UMC and school choirs, acted in Baytown Junior Forum in 1999, competed in One Act plays at Barbers Hill, and recently landed a professional role in The Drowsy Chaperone with Ozark Actors Theatre. He is the son of Kelly and Jennifer Jacobs of Baytown, grandson of Duane and Karen Meadows and the late Albert and Pat Jacobs.

Anahuac ISD Speed Day Returns for Eighth Year
Anahuac ISD held its 8th Speed Day on May 15 at Anahuac High School. About 300 students and 133 teachers from 13 districts including Barbers Hill Dayton East Chambers Goose Creek Huffman Hull-Daisetta Kountze Liberty Lumberton Neder land and West Hardin participated in sports, academic contests, carnival games, and track events designed for students with disabilities. Speed stands for Special People Excelling Every Day.
