San Antonio Man Shot Head During Feud On Cypress Street
A visiting San Antonian, Santiago de la Torre, 26, was shot in the head while fleeing his car on Cypress Street during a 14 day feud in Baytown. He was taken to the Veterans Administration hospital in serious condition. Police say Jesse Garcia, 31, a deckhand on the tug Tyra, faces murder charges and Manuel Martinez, 27, is a material witness and suspect. A .45 pistol was recovered behind a sidewalk on Cherry Street. Andres Martinez, 25, said he and de la Torre had driven around Harhar Street before the shooting.

A final review before potential House action next week could add about 10 million people, including farmers and professionals, with benefits rising 5 to 23.50 monthly. Two High School Pranksters Admit Burning Cross
