Preservation efforts move historic Stolander House in Baytown
The John C. Stolander House was moved in 2013 during Preservation Month to Republic of Texas Plaza for restoration. Baytown Historical Preservation Association supports year round preservation with tours, lectures, and restoration of Wooster Common School District No. 38 and Stolander and Bert Brown homes. Special events and tours expand access, with contact details and a goal to keep history alive.
