Grand champion steer sells for ten thousand at Baytown fair
Dallas Howard of Ross S. Sterling High School saw the grand champion steer sell for 10000 dollars, the highest price yet, bought by Jim Brown of Satterfield Pontikes Construction. The steer will be donated back to the Baytown Youth Fair to raise more funds for the association. Other sales included a 2900 dollar sixth place steer, a 2500 dollar grand champion lamb, a 1300 dollar reserve lamb, and a 1200 dollar reserve goat.
