Baytown Council Denies RV Park Variance On Kilgore Road
Baytown City Council rejects a zoning variance for an RV park encroaching the 75 foot watershed protection buffer on Kilgore Road after residents opposed the plan. The decision could reduce the 100 planned spaces by about 33. The council also authorized early spending for Phase One of San Jacinto Boulevard and a new right turn lane ahead of bond sales in July. Phase One extends toward Hunt and Santary Roads with a later Phase Two linking Bush Road to Garth Road.
