Police beat summary shows thefts at BECO Construction site of 2293 pounds of rebar forms valued about 906 dollars. A 1990 Chevrolet Astro van was stolen from a driveway valued around 3000 dollars. A handgun worth 500 dollars was stolen from a home on Garth Road. Burglaries at a West Lobit Avenue residence yielded DVDs and an Xbox 360 worth about 500 dollars.

Multiple property thefts reported in Chambers County crime alert
Around May 1 a blue Chevrolet Suburban was broken into on Goldfinch Road Baytown with a Polaroid seven inch portable DVD player and another seven inch screen stolen. Also April 29 to 30 First Baptist Church on South Magnolia suffered break in damage and three wireless handheld microphones a CD player and recorder stolen. A green 2006 Polaris Terminator with gun rack and tow rope was stolen around April 23 from a barn on FM 1941 west of Stowell.
