Evading arrest leads to pursuit over bridge and gun charge
A 25 year old Baytown man Mathew Boyd was arrested after fleeing a traffic stop on North Main Street. The chase moved to Ward Road and across the Fred Hartman Bridge toward La Porte where a spike strip halted the vehicle. A stolen handgun was found under the driver seat and Boyd faces evading arrest and felon in possession of a firearm charges along with warrants. A Baytown woman passenger was also taken into custody on outstanding warrants.
