Lee College grants degrees to inmates at Huntsville unit
Nearly 90 offenders earned Lee College degrees at a Huntsville Unit commencement on April 26. President Dennis Brown praised the graduates as a select group, noting the program has grown since 1966 and now offers diplomas in trades such as HVAC, automotive, and horticulture. Timothy Sneed, an alumnus, spoke of transformation through education as inmates imagine new futures beyond prison.
