Temperatures Hit Record Low For May

Freeport Man Extradited Over Diesel Parts Theft
Houston police detectives returned Johnny J. Tate a 32 year old Freeport man from Hobbs New Mexico to face charges. Tate and two other suspects James Floyd Hodges 43 and Oliver Wayne Watson 28 are accused of stealing diesel engine parts valued at about 100000 from the C Jim Stewart and Stevenson Co. over several months.
