GCM Barbers Hill clash seen as 1940 lead in district
Goose Creek Memorial coach Chris Rupp says tonight’s GCM versus Barbers Hill game carries big hype as both teams sit 5-0 in district play. He notes the district is strong aside from the top three teams and praises upcoming tests against Robert E. Lee and Lee. Chance Czerwonka starts for GCM with LSU Eunice bound Mike Martinez also in rotation. other games across 19-4A and 21-5A are noted. Robert E. Lee’s Michael Gomez signs with Eastfield College amid district battles and forfeit win context.
