Rally planned for Cedar Bayou barge terminal opposition
May 3 rally at Roseland Park backs the Save Our Bayou Citizens Coalition as residents oppose Richardson Water Rail’s barge terminal. The event features a barbecue from noon to 5 pm, live music by Mean Gene Kelton and the Die Hards, a boat parade, raffle tickets for fishing trips, and opportunities to comment on the city website. Led by Cindy Coker, organizers seek nonprofit status before the rally and invite broader participation to preserve Cedar Bayou and Roseland Park.
