Priceless Princess shoppers stretch $20 to outfits at Deerbrook Mall
Sonia Barrett leads 24 young participants and four parents on a spring break shopping challenge at Humble’s Deerbrook Mall. With $20 per person, the group hunted for complete outfits under budget, learning money-management and value. Best girl and best boy shoppers win $5 prizes, while a volunteer escort crew aided the trip. Barrett notes parents’ sacrifices and the lesson of hard work behind every dollar.
