Steel labor talks to start late in year in steel cities
R Conrad Cooper of U S Steel said negotiations with United Steelworkers will begin later than hoped, with April start only for plant level talks. Cooper praised recent bargaining team understanding and urged avoiding labor warfare while pursuing constructive arbitration.
