College hosts health and job fairs at Lee College
Lee College invites the community to two free public events this month. March 29 Health Fair 1 to 4 p.m. in the Sports Arena features free screenings demonstrations and vendor booths. March 31 Race to Your Career Job Fair 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the Sports Arena with about 70 employers, speed networking and on-the-spot feedback.

Supreme Court Upholds Tyson Workers Pay Class Action
The Supreme Court, in a 6-2 decision, upheld a $5.8 million judgment against Tyson Foods Inc. for pay disputes at its Storm Lake Iowa plant. More than 3,000 workers claimed they were unpaid for time spent donning protective gear before knife work on the slaughter and fabrication floors. Justice Kennedy wrote the majority opinion, rejecting Tyson’s bid to limit class actions.
