CV Board Opposes Consolidation and Busing
Channelview trustees voted unanimously to oppose forced district consolidation and student busing. They approved a resolution urged by Supt. Crenshaw and attorney Sedgeley, noting similarity to measures in Baytown and other Harris County districts. The board also revised the drug abuse policy removing and if found guilty language and adding that a student under influence or possessing dangerous drugs may be expelled for the remainder of the semester.
