Lee To Compete In Shorthand Contest In La Marque
Five Robert E Lee High School students and two alternates are set for the Interscholastic League shorthand contest in La Marque on March 30. Connie Cole led with three errors in 15 minutes 30 seconds, followed by four-error times ranging to 30 minutes 40 seconds among others. Vicki Jenson was ineligible due to college credit coursework. Johnny Riley Jr. praised Lee’s strong district prospects, noting last year’s district victory and solid showing in the Literary contest.
